Blue Skies Butterflies Edu-Care

My name is Pamela Vest and I am the owner/operator of Blue
Skies Butterflies Edu-Care. My Edu-Care was opened up
Feb. 14, 2004. I worked hard and molded my Edu-Care into
what it is today.
I DO NOT babysit so please do not call me a babysitter! I am
a licensed family daycare provider.
The Department Of Social Services requires 6 hours training
per year. Blue Skies Butterflies Edu-Care achieves an
average of 150 - 200 hours per year of training.
I am certified in CPR, First Aid, Universal Precautions, and
MAT. I have a degree in Administrative Support Technology,
Early Childhood Education, and Child Daycare Management.
I am working on getting a CDA for the daycare! I am excited
about this move but exhausted as well because it is a very
long process!
I have three beautiful children, Ambra is 13, Jordon is 11,
and Briana is 6. We have a Poodle named Prince Pierre II
and he weighs about 4 lbs, a Jack Russell named Chico, a
beautiful cat named Dora The Explorer, and a Cocktail named
Sunshine. The daycare has its own fish tank with a nice
assortment of colorful fish.
I treat each child in my daycare special regardless of sex,
religion, or race.
There are so many licensed family daycare, centers, and
baby sitters out there that a parent must be careful as to
where your child is attending while you are at work. There
are some really good places around the NRV to enroll your
children and find that right one is a very hard job. To
protect my daycare, myself, my daycare children, and the
parents we have a monitoring system installed that tapes
during daycare hours.
I do pay my taxes and report all income so at the end of the
year each parent will receive a statement as to what they
have paid in daycare payments for their tax purpose.
